In 1137, young Eleanor inherits her father's lands, wealth, and titles, and becomes Duchess of Aquitaine, the most powerful woman in the medieval world.  Courted by earls, dukes, and kings, Eleanor would marry two kings; Louis VII, King of France, and Henry II, King of England. During her long life of 82 years, she would lead Crusader Knights into battle on the 2nd Crusade, promote Chivalry through her "Courts of Love", and give birth to the English dynasty of Plantagenet Kings.  In this interactive program, Rebecca Tulloch traces Eleanor's experiences on Crusade in the Kingdom of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, recreates a scene from her "Court of Love", and discusses the politics of her family focusing on her sons Richard the Lionheart and John Lackland.  This program can be customized for audiences of all ages and can also be tailored for Medieval and Renaissance appearances.   Program Length: 30 - 50 minutes.
